Live Episode with Industry Minds UK: Mental Health In The Arts

Bumble and Industry Minds UK join forces to highlight the importance of talking about mental health within the creative arts.

About this Event

Bumble is a platform rooted in kindness and respect with a mission in helping advance gender equality and putting an end to misogyny and toxic masculinity that still plague our society. There are three different modes: dating, friend-finding (Bumble BFF) and networking (Bumble Bizz) that collectively have one thing in common: womxn make the first move. Bumble aim to support businesses or platform voices that aren't as heard or seen by building a empowering space that all genders can network, connect and leave feeling energised and confident about making that first move.

The mission is that we start opening the conversation on mental health in the arts (which is usually such a taboo topic) and to bring this panel of epic women together who have all experience and passion in doing so too.

Our line up includes:

Eilidh Loan, Actress and Writer

Izuka Hoyle, Actress

Amy Jessop, Confidence/Mindset/Peformance Coach

Alexa Morden, Actress and Co-founder of The 98%

Sheyi Martins-Allen, Singer, Tutor and 1/3 of Unsaid Politics Podcast

Cathy Read and Scarlett Maltman from Industry Minds UK will be recording this talk live for their podcast which is well into Season Two and showing great success in breaking that stigma!

The event will start at 7pm with arrivals which is time for meeting, networking and connecting with others. The show will open with a few spoken word performances headlined with Salma El-Wardany celebrating International Women's Day.
